• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

06 Trailblazer SS. AWD, Leather, Navi, Bose. Pretty much everything other than the rain-sense wipers that most people ***** about anyway.

I have gotten numerous questions regarding the gas mileage in this thing, so I'll just answer them all here:

If you have even one ounce of concern about gas mileage, the TBSS is probably not a good choice for you. :p

We didn't really give a damn about fuel mileage because we live literally 4 blocks from my fiance's bank that she works at. On nice days she usually just walks, and on days where the weather is not supposed to be perfect, her and her mother (we live in the same town as her parents) take turns driving.

Average fuel mileage right now is 14.4 MPG according to the DIC, and it is fairly accurate. It is extremely difficult to stay out of the gas pedal - even moreso than when I'm driving the GTP. The exhaust note is sex to my ears, and you dont get that sexy exhaust sound unless you put the pedal down.

Most of our driving of the TBSS is 10 miles or less. A lot of driving around town and putting the pedal down from a stop sign.

Driving the truck home with 4 people in it, we got 17.3 MPG with the cruise set at 70mph. I would not expect anything better than 15mpg mixed though. Guys who get a tune and intake can get slightly better, but most do not.

The actual color name is superior blue, but of course she calls it 'cubs blue.'

I told her I wouldn't give a damn what she called the color as long as we could get it. :-D

Nice, if I were to have to get anything SUV related, THAT WOULD BE IT HANDS DOWN! Ever plan on taking it down the 1/4 mile? I wonder how much better AWD is at traction vs RWD?

If I ever get one i'd have to do a few things... With reading I know with the RWD version you could do a CAI, Headers, Full Exh, Tune, Vig TC, and some slicks and get deep into the 12s! :-)

Might run it down the 1/4 sometime just for ****s and giggles, but it will be staying stock. Big warranty, and its the fiance's DD. No need to go getting myself into any trouble. lol

Stock AWD TBSS' can mash the pedal from a stop and it just goes. I got a little chirp a few days ago, but nothing other than that. The RWD, I would assume, is quite a bit easier to get squirly in.

sweeeeeeeet!!!!! Glad you dumped the Ford for a real ride. Nice choice, great looking SUV! Color looks good on that truck.

Well sir, I don't like it:th_thumb-down:. But only because it's not mine.:D

I want one. A good friend of mine has one and is a member of a few TBSS forums. He is a heavy modder.

Yours is a beaut!
