so, i just bought some new projector headlights. very nice, i must say. however, i have two problems. my main concern is that they are both very "shakey." anyone know of a quick fix?

plus, i think they need to be aimed a little better. they didnt come with any instructions on how to aim or anything, so i figured i would give a shout out on here. :)

if anyone can assist me, it would be greatly appreciated

They Spyder Auto projectors naturally point inward, so you won't be able to adjust them out as far as they need to to point straight ahead. Just adjust them out as far as you're able until the gap between the headlight and the bumper becomes unacceptable. Even with them pointing inward, they're still 1,000x better than stock headlights.

Tape around the plastic tabs on the projector bracket (where they slide into the metal bracket on the car) helps, and rubber foam around the entire headlight helps more. There are also a couple of posts where people zip-tied parts of the bracket, but I've never done this so I can't say how well it works.

the projectors suck, worst 350$ i ever spent. i have the ebay black ones and used the factory headlight bracket with HID's i get plenty of light output for NYC streets. good luck trying to get them not to shake. i would sell em and maybe go a different route. im just speaking from experience

that shows me I don't want them now. Very bad design if they can't be properly aimed, the price needs to be less than lights that work

cant complain. i fixed the bouncing issue, and the aim is a tad bit off, but that can be adjusted. i actually feel better about having to make minor adjustments to make them work with my car because it makes me feel more accomplished. nothing's perfect....

I agree with you. For the price (especially the group buy price some of us paid) they should be almost perfect. However, even with then being "cross-eyed" the output is still 1000x better than stock capsules.

Overall, they were good enough that I was happy with them while I had them, but not so good that I replaced them after my accident.
