Since this thread was about some ford talk, I'd like to share the wonderful 5.0 exhaust manifold of dumb.

How in the world did they come up with this crappy design. Headers would be a must on a 5.0.

Those manifolds are only used on the 97+ explorers. Goofy spark plug angles and tight quarters make for an ugly design. The lift on the cam in those engines its like .412". Don't expect copious amounts of flow.
