Went to the track yesterday for the local test-n-tune. This is the first run since I picked up my new m/t et street radials. They hook a lot better then my last set of tires. My first pass of four was the best at 12.16@114. As the night went on the track cooled off and traction became an issue. I turned up the boost a little on the last two passes to get a best trap of 116.93. Saw a few *kr at top of 2nd, bottom of third. Still have some tune work to do. Overall vey happy with the results but now have that itch for a 11.99 run. I think I am going to head back to the track tomorrow to see what I can do. I still need to tighten up the rear suspension to reduce the weight transfer and maybe pull a little more weight out of the car.

Nice Job! Did you do the cable mod for the rear? Also what weight reduction have you done?

Thanks man. No cable mod or any other suspension mods. I have the carpet out because it was wet and moldy due to a water leak, back seats out, and trunk carpet out. Thats about it. Still have the spare and jack in the back.

ThoseThose times make me feel soo embarrassed. My best mph stock was 113mph but couldn't do **** for traction. Best I could do was 13.3 lol... In my boss.

Have not gone back since I got my intake and mufflers. About 20 more whp since I was at the track last.

Nice, Good to see you are close to 11s at the same traps I was. On street tires best I could pull was 12.88@116mph

im sure his car is lighter too. decker once your on some slicks im sure your time will drop a lot too.

Well I got my 11 sec pass today. [email protected] on 14.5 psi. Super excited. That was with only a 1.9x 60' so there was still some room for improvement. It is now bouncing the limiter on the 1/2 shift. Im going to try to correct with a tune. We will see.

I will post the slip later on whenever I get to my computer.

I wasnt sure I would get there with my current setup. Alot if my build is on the small side with the hx35, 2.25" intercooler piping, small ebay intercooler, stock gt fuel pump w/ homemade rewire, stock heads, and 2.5" downpipe.

as for the trans if you dont have a shift kit in it get one asap... tep valve body would do wonders i bet too.

The car was teasing me. The pass before I ran a 12.002. Lol.

I have a transgo shift kit in it. I will mess around with it a little. Maybe lower the shift point to see if that helps. If not I will try some other things.
