New Owner, 99 GT Coupe

Hi all, name is Ken, Booba5185 sent me here since he frequents this place, not new to forums by any means. Just bought my first Grand Prix on Monday, actually went and looked at it last Saturday, the lady I got it from had a new engine put in it 3 years ago, and it doesn't have but 30k on it, she was asking $1500 for the car, I bought it for $1200 total, gave her $600 that day since she didn't have the title(a short story made shorter, she broke up with her beau and he took the title, met her Monday to file for lost title, and sign it over with a bill of sale) and gave her the other $600 when I got the title stuff done Monday.

Car has a new Radiator, NO Dexcool(thank god), aftermarket alarm system, new JVC Headunit, Black Leather with heated seat, HUD, DIC, Sunroof, 9 month old tires. Changed the plugs out to NGK TR55's, Bosch wires, the stock AC Delco wires pulled the cores out when I pulled them off... Had to take the MAF sensor off and clean it yesterday, car started sputtering and RPM was bouncing, while I had that all off, I cleaned the TB Bore, buncha tan **** came out of that! Put in a new air filter(will make a homebrew HAI later on). Throttle response is way better, also rotated the dog bone bushings while I was at it. Haven't driven it since the MAF cleaning yesterday though. It's fixing to get a new driver side window motor, and I gotta figure out why the hell my sunroof won't open.

Well I reckon you gotta haul balls if nothing else... except in those new minivans and hybrids with testicle holders in the dash. Ha.

Its all ha ha, even the sedan slam. My GT had a silver pin, it was first to go. Next, that plug behind the left dash access panel cuz DRL.

Sounds like someone has 4 door envy, lol. At least MY sedan looks good, lol. Although yours must be pretty attractive since people keep running into it.

lmao... the searchlight sedan yes... I envy its ability to park on the beach and keep ships from running ashore at night. Just don't shine anything too bright over this way, willya? Glad you found another recruit, Booba.
