New Member with questions

whats up guys i've been checking out this site for a while now but decided to make an account. i use to have a red 98 GTP coupe but sold it a while back now im looking to buy another one eventually but am in no rush. im not looking to spend to much either so i went to check out this other GTP i think it was a 2000 not to sure but i went over the whole car and it seemed in alright shape. i checked all the fluids even the supercharger oil but thats where i found a problem. it had no supercharger oil in there none! so my question for you guys is what will happen to the supercharger if ran with no oil? will it need a full replacement or just where the gears are? can the snout go bad from this? i just wanna find out a little about this before i make the lady an offer

depends on how long there was no oil and how long it was ran without oil and how fast it heats up i think, it might be fine with no oil to run for a very short amount of time but im not to sure im just guessing someone else on here would probably know more

Ah yea no oil in there at all? The gears are probably hating life. I'd start looking for a new S/C.

No oil in there at all does not sound good.
