Hello all,

I owned a 98 Olds Intrigue with the 3800 series II engine back in the day. I've always want to get another one. If I couldn't get an Olds, I thought the next best thing would be a Grand Prix.
I've been looking on Craigslist and autotrader for that special car seamed to be calling me. This past weekend I bought a 98 Grand Prix GTP. It is a work in progress until I can get it registered and insured.

That looks pretty clean for a 98. Find a same color front bumper cover in a junkyard and good to go. Looks like the current one has taken some abuse, which seems standard nowadays. I know mine looks way worse than that.

I picked up a front bumper cover, hood, and trunk from a 2001 GT in a different shade of silver but I'm happy with it. Today I put a set of wheels from a 97 GT.

Nice! FYI- don't try to do the F-Body/Impala front brake upgrade, as the calipers won't fit under the crosslace wheels.

I hadn't thought about doing that mod. I saw a 00 GTP in the local U- pull yard that I'm thinking about for grabbing next weekend for spares. They are painted yellow with GTP painted in black. I've still got the original wheels so now I have a set of winter and summer tires.
I was looking at a 97 GTP for a spare blower but one of the bolts had been rounded. Before I could get back to it, someone else snagged it. I looked at the 00 GTP blower this past weekend and someone has already grabbed the front housing.
