Happy New Year Everyone!

I'm Steve and live in Emmaus, Pa. I have owned 2 Daytona 500 Pace Cars over the last 10 years. A 98 GTX that was rearended (dead) New Year's Eve 2000 by as drunk 16 year old in his mama's vw. My current Grand Prix is a 2000 Pace Car that I have kept stock since buying it new. It is my now my daily driver with almost 170,000 miles on it. I am a member of MACGP but have not made it to any events (yet). I have found MACGP a wealth of information over the years. I joined GPF today after seeing a couple of emails about it from MACGP.

I am also an active member on solsticeforums and have made a number of events in my 2007 Solstice GXP. I even lead a fall foilage ride in October from Allentown up to Jim Thorpe. I have made a number of mods on that car including replacing the exhaust and intake.

I am looking to replace my 2000 Pace Car this year with a 98 or 00 Pace Car with less than 50,000 miles. I have found 5 meeting this criteria so far. If you have one, let me know. Not looking to steal one, but am looking for the best deal out there that meets my need for a daily driver for the next 5 - 7 years.
 


Welcome from a fellow Pace Car owner! I just bought mine in Sept. with 65k. Good luck in your search. Its seems that there are a lot of Pace Cars going up for sale lately.

Welcome Steve! Glad to see some more of the MACGP crew signing up over here! Be sure to pop into the Local Chapters area and sign up for the MACGP group there. We have a small message board there also for events and such.

Love the Solstice GXP. Fell in love with the car after seeing it at the Philly Auto show in 2004. Immediately put a deposit down, gave up the 2006 I ordered to be first to get a GXP. Picked it up just over a year ago. Only complaint is storage space. It's in the garage for the winter. May get it out next week if the salt gets washed off the road tonight.

Not sure if I'm working next weekend or not. I have the dinner on my calendar but it will be a long shot if I make it. Enjoy!
