New Member/Coolant Leak

Good afternoon everyone, wanted to say hello to all, along with question for you gtp pros out there. I had just recently purchased my first GTP this past weekend, i have wanted one of these for the longest time and have finally got myself in a position where i was able to purchase one. I bought this car with the intention of fixing things on my own as well as making some upgrades (know that i am not extremely experienced with cars and working on them hoping to change all that with this vehicle). I have a 2002 grand prix GTP with 100k on her, love the car however i noticed a couple things right off the bat that will need to be fixed hoping you guys can lead me in the right direction. I notice i have a coolant leak which these cars are prone to, every time i pull the car away i notice there is a spot on the ground under the front part of the motor on the passenger side I did also notice there is a little bit of coolant that is sitting on top of the motor right in front of the super charger not sure if this is just residual coolant/moisture or what. I plan to replace the intake manifold gasket in the next week or two due to the poor quality gasket they used from the start. Does anyone have suggestions on the 2 areas i am encountering coolant at? Any help would be appreciated!

More than likely it's the comob of the intake gasket and possible coolant elbows leaking, you'd be replacing both anyway when you do the repair.

Other common leak is the water pump weep hole for leaks that start on the passenger side.

Thanks for the suggestion, after really taking some time to look it, i could actually see coolant coming out of the elbow. Thanks again!

Rent a cooling system pressure tester and pressurize the system...

When you have it some-what pressurized, spray all your coolant fittings with soap water and look for bubbles...

Might be surprised at what you find...

Also would like to know what other items should i check/replace while changing the intake manifold gasket the could save me hassle down the road? Any advice would be appreciated!
