1st. i was told to buy a kr gauge....What is this exactly i never asked and ive never heard of them?

2nd. Any free mods that can be done?

3rd. I want to do a smaller pulley what are some good upgrade paths.

do not buy a KR gauge, get a scanner so you can look at everything your PCM puts out.

free mods dont really exist for these cars, but you can make and do things on your own for next to nothing.

for a smaller pulley you need intake and exhaust work. you need at least a 3" downpipe to even think of running a smaller pulley.


let me make this easier on you...how fast do you want to go, how much money do you want to spend, and how knowledgeable are you with working on cars?

my galant should be in the 10s this year and with the gtp i just want something reliable that will run mid to high 13s

buy an intercooler and a 3" downpipe and be done with it. then run whatever pulley you can get away with without knocking.

thats an easy mid 13 car with the right launch.

Yup...if money isn't a big deal then, Stage 2 Intercooler, Headers, Intake of some sort, Custom Tuned PCM, 180* T-Stat, Autolite 104 Spark Plugs, 3.2" Pulley...then if you want a little more power contact Reptile on Supercharger and Throttle Body Porting...those 2 mods = WIN
