Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New lights installed

i didnt even know there was a pitt, ohio ha but now that you mention it i see pitt-ohio semi trucks all over the PA turnpike, maybe a company from there?

How do you change the lights where the shifter is? Is that hard? How many bulbs are there? I'm going through my car and switching most everything out for LEDs and the center console shifter lights are the ones I have no clue about.
The sifter on the center counsel has 1 bulb in it, i do believe its a 194 or 168 bulb, either works. You have to take the center counsel apart to get at it and then you have to scrap the red film from inside the plastic piece to get it to show up decently. I only used 1 green led but i suggest at least 3, mines too dim.

Oh when you scraping use a flash light on the other side so you can scrap out the letters perfectly. Yeah it's that tedious!

see i got a red car, everything matches already! when i first hopped in at night and i saw the red guages i was so happy

i've never seen a raised spoiler before. it's interesting lol. kinda like it, kinda don't. but i'll give props for originality

edit: wait, ctk, you're in pitt OH?

I raised it because dirt was getting underneath it and would wash out and leave brown streaks. The only screws I could find that fit were 2" long and I didn't have time to dremel them down until about 6 months later.

I did dremel them to 3/4" and it looks a lot better but still leaves room for the LED strip which I have since hooked to the brake lights.

definitely use 3 or 4, never did it because I want to do backinblack's drive shift mod down there at some point.

that makes sense. i've thought about taking mine off one night because i've seen videos of the kinda stuff that gets caught under it, i just haven't got around to it.

link? :th_thumbsup-wink:
this one should be it:

tebo, i'll probably end up doing this lol. i want everything green eventually

i hate all that neon stuff, i had my interior lights in blue and they drove me nuts, the hyper white is much better

How do you put 3 or 4 bulbs where 1 goes?

use a larger bulb or a LED strip run in parallel with the back plate for the LEDs,

Here is his original project, I wanted to rewire it to work with the lower shifter and the cluster display. unfortunately I never have time to work on electronics projects any more.

its going to be gross. It took 20 minutes to get the area clean under it, also where the seal between the spoiler and the trunk mate will probably need some wax and care.

that sounds encouraging lol. i'm gonna need a day off for that. also been thinking about a clay bar, any experience with that?

Can you give a website to where you got the domes floor and maplights from and item name/number if possible i really wanna go blue with mine but scared ill order the wrong bulbs
