• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New Intercooler Pics

Here's any idea for a reservior, I used a Magnacharger Intercooler Reservior. It has a pressure cap (10 psi) and the barbs are 3/4". Perfect solution for your ICing need. All you have to do is remove your coolant catch can and install a smaller one elsewhere. And make a bracket like I did w/ stainless hardware.

Here are some pics...

Hope this helps...

I remember seeing that setup. Didn't you buy that on ebay? What vehicle was that resevoir designed for, or would you happen to know if their was a part number on that resevoir.

Damn! i would love to fab myself a nice little IC set up... May have to start looking into that. Sick set up man!

OMG. Both of you stop being cheap lol. You can get the materials to make yourself a phenolic version for $150.

Yeah but does Phenolic smell good when being cut, theirs something to be said when cutting wood and shaping it. I can't remember what type of exotic spanish wood we used years ago in my senior wood shop class, but it smelled amazing.

Wow...NICE. Is the idea with the removable core that it can be replaced while on the car without uninstalling the IC and blower? Looks like it would be tough to get it out possible without hitting something, not sure though.

Edit: Curious what that weighs as well...

DO WANT!!!!

If that stuff disappears in the middle of the night, I didn't do it... :D

I know right! Theft!!! LoL If i had a clue on how to make one, id be all over it but... with my luck, ill have the biggest boost leak ever reported on the forum. MAN DOWN! Cant help but wonder... How often does a IC Core need replaced anyways???

9 lbs 9 oz

The cores not replacable while its in the car. The core is welded to the removable plate and uses o-rings to seal where the inlet and outlet leaves the core.

Their is way less of a possibility of having a vac leak because theirs really only 4 small spots for that to really occur. This design also allows you to maximize the core thickness while packaging into 2.125 inch plate. The core is thicker than this because it drops into the intake manifold.
