New Hyundai

I'm thoroughly impressed by this car. I've been following it since I first heard the specs, and now that I've driven one, It's become one of my favorite cars produced. I'd take it over a Lexus, Mercedes or BMW any day. The ride is smooth, it's fit and finish are impeccable, it feels like it's worth twice what it says on the sticker, and it out-performs almost every other luxury car out there in handling, acceleration, and braking.
Don't knock it 'til you drive it!

good info, love to hear that...

It's definately the best when it comes to bang for the buck.

I really think Toyota and Honda had better watch out. Hyundai is to Toyota/Honda as Toyota/Honda were to the big 3 back in the early 80s.

Just watch. The only problem with the Genisis is the design. It melts in and doesn't stand out. Depending on what angle your looking at it from your average consumer will not be able to tell it from one make or another.

I've also noticed that they've tried to make it look like any car but a Hyundai. There are barely any badges visible.

I wonder if Hyundai will eventually produce a second luxury brand, similar to Lexus and Infinity. It would solve a lot of the problems caused by association with the Hyundai name.

Overall, I think there are too many BMW and Mercedes drivers who buy more for the name than the car for a Hyundai to make a serious dent in their sales, but I can see this producing some competition for makes like Infinity and Acura. Mostly, I can see it competing directly with the G8, since it offers a similar combination of space, power, and RWD at an affordable price.
