new hids in spyder housing?

Well one of my bulbs blew in my spyder headlights so i plan on upgrading them obv. cus the kit that were in them off ebay were horrible. So has anyone replaced the hids/balasts with something better and gotten decent results? Ya ya i know, RETROFIT. Im not asking what you think i should do as far as housings. Im asking if anyone has had good results putting a quality kit in these.

VVME or DDM, in my opinion, sells the best HID kits.

They wont, it'll prolly melt the plastic and peel that silver coating/paint off.
