Hello everyone. My names Andrew, I just picked up another GM car, and its going under the knife already.
Went from a 96' Monte Carlo with a 3.1 that had just over 293k on it and upgraded

2004 Monte Carlo with a 3800 with 112k on it.

Collecting parts right now. Getting a Top swap, NIC camshaft, Shift kit and misc other little things.

Getting put together and tuned by a few friends with their help.
 


Sounds like a sweet build. I'd be down to help out if I'm not working. I like like an hour away or so. Also having a meet at my house next sunday the 13th if you want to come up.
 
Just something to have fun with. Not going for any records (although it'd be nice)

Might have to see what's going on. I'm collecting the last few little pieces (timing chain and dampener are really the only things left) then making time to do it. The two people that'll be helping me live in C-bus and the other up in Michigan. There's no rush on it. Gotta make sure everything is good to go. Hate to have my DD not able to get me to/from work.

After this swap is done, it'll get an I/C in the spring with tax return and a built trans probably. Just going to over build it for reliability.
