Hi everyone,

Loved the 97-03 Grand Prix's for a while now, and finally picked up a used 98 GTP to work on about a month ago. Love the car, so far i have replaced the front brakes, alternator & battery and she is running strong. I am doing all the minor/cosmetic work work before i really get into it, and there are a few electrical issues i still have to sort out (HUD not working at all, backlight LCD burnt out on DIC, Performance Shift dash light not functioning, power mirrors not working)

I am hoping to fix most of that stuff myself, with the help of this site hopefully i can do it without too much trouble. I took out the DIC today and managed to replace the 3 bulbs that went on me, i will test it out later today!

Anyways, looks like a good community here, glad to be a part of it!

Welcomes! You're going to love it here! There is a lot you can do to your car but it will take a lot of patience and time. Slow and steady doesn't blow up your car. These aren't race cars out of the box so a lot of work for the fun stuff is involved and tuning is almost everything!

I have about 20 projects i want to take on right now, if i wasn't going back to school i would shut myself in the garage for a month and not come out until i was done... :th_laugh-lol2:
