holy sh*t, 870,000 is a lot of miles for an 06.


is the thermostat turned all the way to the red or is it in between the red and the blue?
 
get moar coolant and does your engine temp guage ever read half because thats the normal running temp. If not, get a new t-stat, 195*.
 


believe it or not, i have the same issue. just never bothered to address it. running temp is fine, i'm getting heater hoses replaced tomorrow. I'll let you know if that yields any results
 
Welcome to the forum. There's a bunch of great people here willing to help and offer advice. They steered me away from 2 car's i was looking at because of potential problems.
