• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

new header brand????

same pacesetter knock off junk.

if you want cheap headers get SSAC. dont skimp.

X2

SSAC's will do

I just got done ripping my pacesetters off, thought I had a leak at the y-pipe but turned out to be at my resonator. They did a good enough job, but that was due to different hardware being used on the actual headers. Came with too short of bolts for the crossover and ended up using band clamps on the y to seal them.

98daytona500 bought these... there is a review on clubgp

everyone liked them that bought them... the one thing that didn't like was they weren't coated....

BTW something kinda weird... look closely at the picture and you'll realize they put a "mirrored" image of the headers on there. They are backwards. :)

It's just a mistake, but the headers do fit. All the guys that bought them had the headers coated afterward.. apparently still came out much cheaper than pacesetters and performed the same. They are "pacesetters."

Wait...

A couple guys bought them here and they didn't even fit CLOSE. Riley bought some Ebay headers and the crossover pipe was hitting the transmission...about 2 or 3 INCHES away from the front header...they needed work, welding, and fitment help...BAD.

:th_scratchhead: Well like I said, I'm pulling the info directly off of cgp what was said. I have no experience with these. They never mentioned anything about fitment issues. Most said they fit perfectly fine with minimal to no issues.

Either way I personally would just go TOGs and ZZPs.

I'm never on CGP since it sucks...idk there...from what I have heard here they are junk...

I'd just rather spend my money elsewhere on something worthwhile...Pacesetter's might not be the best header out there but at least they fit

they were probably referring to the OBX headers, i bought those and that was the problem. I cant say anything about those though, i didnt buy them b/c the company that sells them i had an incident with when i bought my black corners, and they jerked me around with it.

SSAC are different than S&S right?
If so, which ones would you guys say are better for a 3.4 pulley build?

SSAC are pacesetter knockoffs, which are SLP knockoffs.

S&S are a completely different brand and i love mine. no slip fits and two piece design taking the install error out of the situation.

both will help with a 3.4 setup. neither will perform better than the other.

I got them on my car. Had to weld up the collector, xover and read header as one piece. Pull the TB, EGR and Mastercylinder to drop it in as one piece. They come real close to hitting the transaxle had to notch mine out alittle more. I think its hit and miss on fit. I got lucky.
