New guy with lowered 04 question

New guy here..... I bought an 2004 GT that has been lowered. I'm trying to figure out how much so I can pick appropriate struts. The front fender wells sit right at 27" and the rears are at 28". Any one know what the stock fender well height is?

Thanks

Are you saying you want to buy quick struts or new struts and swap the springs over?
You wont be able to find any quick struts for the front. They literally don't exist.

So Hmmm that's a little delimma.
KYB GR2s for about 50ish each would be the move, swapped onto the existing springs.
Or quick struts in back with same brand front strut and moog front springs from rockauto for $65 a set.(then sell springs on craigslist)

Hopefully you are doing them yourself or have a friend with the know how or be prepared to be violated at a shop

Sorry ..to answer your question: pretty dam close would be +2 inches both ways.

Post some pics and we can help you figure out how much your GP was lowered. Or just Jack up the car and look at the springs, see what color they are and if they have any identification markings left on them.

Sounds like the DNA drop.
My SSCs drop, put me at 27 3/8 front and 27 3/4 rear.
I know it dropped close to 2 inches. I didn't write the measurements down before, but at the time my subtraction skills were spot on.
I did however make a mental note stating "damn close to 2 inches".

if you wanna keep your ride height just get gr2's struts, throw your old springs on and top it off with some new quality strut mounts and call it a day. if you dont want it low anymore, sell the springs, get some off the shelf quick struts.
