i have 2000 gp gt 3800 with 150,000 miles on i. just recently ive had hesitation/ misfiring problems and my car was gutless at same time. first off, changed plugs /wires b/c they were shot. find out from a mechanic friend that i had a vacuum leak. had a new intake manifold /gaskets put in. also replaced cat thinking that it may have been plugged. got a lot of my power back but car still hesitates when its cold. unplugged maf to see if that would cure it but to no avail. keep in mind it only hesitates when cold and onlywhen driving. otherwise idles just fine. stumped at this point and need help

did you clean all the sensors, mine did that last year and would stall, took the t-body off, cleaned it good then cleaned the sernsors, replaced fuel filter also,im not saying thats the prob. but it was just a sugg.

thanks for the advice. cleaning tbody would be my next step. had the fuel filter replaced a couple months but its a possibility it may have gone bad. i was told the injectors may dirty and was reading a thread somebody posted that they need to be cleaned under pressure. what other faulty sensors besides the maf would cauz a hesitation? had a mechanic tell me that a bad coolant temp sensor may cause it?

no, i dont think so. it idles nice, but hesitates and feels gutless until it warms up. then whats odd is when it sits for periods of like 15 min or more, the problem comes back until it warms up enough. where is the best place to ask this question? posted the same thread under general tech i think.
