hi, i m jerry phelps. born and raised in md, near ft meade. graduated arundel hs, joined USMC, and got married all within 6 months(1959). been a hot rodder all my life. first car 37 ford coupe. it ended upon the local 1/4 mile dirt tracks. stayed in mc 25 years. got to see the world, some of it through the sites of a m-16 or ak47. retired 1984 and opened garage. lasted a while and fully retired 2002. now i just work on my own stuff. got 8 pickups (newest is 1973) and 7 cars - 95 imp ss, 85 monte ss, 72 monte ss, 74 ranchero 4v cleveland, 73 gran torino sport cobra jet 4v cleveland, 64 galaxie wagon (ex fire chiefs car) . last week i aquired a cherry 84 grand prix le . interior great except headliner, exterior very good, no dents no rust paint faded good top. 305 4v runs good. i know i will have questions and maybe even answer some. nice to be a member of the group.
