This is my first post on here, so let me start by saying hi! I stumbled across this site and many others from searching google for L67 swap info. I have a few questions, but I wanted to introduce myself first. My name is Kyle for those that care lol.
My current Grand Prix's are listed in my sig. The 00 GTP (coupe) is actually my g/f's car that I bought off a customer for $800. The guy thought it was a can of worms and just wanted to get rid of it. After fixing a leaking radiator hose it has been pretty rock solid. It needs a cat and the ABS light is on, but otherwise it drives great! It's all stock with 160k on it and will stay that way while the g/f drives it. She wants to get an Explorer Sport Trac when she graduates later this year so then I'll get it back!
My 1997 GP GT (4dr) I found on craigslist just last weekend. I paid $200 for it, but it has a rod knock around 3k rpm and the tranny is shot. I knew buying it that I wanted to swap in a spare L67 I have/had sitting in the garage. I knew ahead of time that these cars are the hardest to swap, but that's why I'm here.
So... Hi!
