Successful day, I was rained out before I could finish, but I am CLOSE. Lifter valley is a little cruddy, but not bad for 230,000 miles. It's cleaner now, but I'll be running cleaner through the oil changes for some time. Pics:

Here's where I left off for the night. All but 2 sensor are connected, fuel rail is installed, etc. All that I have left for the most parts is replacing the coolant elbows, put the CAI back on, install alternator, put belts on, put on a few various brackets, actually connect the spark plugs in the right spots, and fluids. I think. I'm sure I'm forgetting something.
Here's the old gasket, from what I can see it was bad in a few areas...
I didn't spend too much time cleaning the valve covers because I'll be cleaning them up when I replacing the gaskets when I install some different rockers. As long as weather permits, I'll finish her up tomorrow.
