I just found this site because I just baught a 98 GTP and I was looking for a forum. Im having a few problems with the car, but it is probably not major. I replaced the MAF sensor, and the check engine light is not coming back on, but, it still is not starting, and staying running.

Check the idle air control valve next (IAC). It's on the throttle bottle, held on by two bolts. It's responsible for metering air when the car is idling (like when it's started) when the throttle plate is closed. On high milage cars the pintle sticks and the car won't run.
