:) Hey guys,

Name is Tim, I just bought a 1999 grand prix. I've always wanted one of these things and i finally pulled myself together and sold my POS grand am. So now I got a 1999 Gran Prix GT. I kinda would of liked the GTP cuz i see they have lower gearing and I would of gotten better gas mileage I think. If anyone has tips on better gas mileage let me know. It'll be my daily driver.

Unfortunately, it's got some purple tint, but very clean overall. Your typical black 1999 grand prix coupe.

Any questions about me or my cars, let me know. I will be around here all the time I am sure. I got simple questions about my stereo install that will be happening sometime soon.
 


Buff it out? um, that's news to me. I'll probably be removing it and do it the right way, since the previous owner went cheap on me.
 


I just talked to the guy I bought my grand prix from about one..no $hit. Cuz I want one next to my Z28.

He knows of one and sees one every now and then at auctions.
 


Welcome to the forum. Happy to have you here. I think he's refering to his window tint. Yeah, it's either cheap tint or the previous owner didn't use the right stuff to clean it. Window cleaner with amonia in it will turn them purple.
