New GPOs on a Silvermist.

Thanks for all the comments guys.
Well when i first got them back from the body shop it came with a lot of gaps so i took a heat gun to it to try to close them up. As for the SS grills i used the grills that came with the GPOs and used them as a template for my SS grills to be cut. I then cut the grills and mounted them and i just hand painted the mounting tabs so it wouldn't stick out like a soar thumb through the grills.

Did you heat gun them after they were painted? If you did, how hard was it to do? and did it mess up the paintjob at all?

That was my mistake, i should have heated it before it was painted. But i was extra careful and i managed to heat it after it was painted. Just don't get to close and constantly move the gun avoiding staying in one spot.

did u make the mesh inserts or did you pick them up somewhere? car looks great

Thanks, it came with regular satin grills, but i wanted to be different so i picked up some SS chrome grills from a demod and i hacked them up to fit behind the GPOs.

Well the GPO's you can get at grille-fx.com and the chrome SS grills i got from someone selling them on another forum for a lot less then the normal price. But if you insist on paying the full price you can find them on pfyc.com
