Howdy everyone my names Andrew, I'm from central minnesota. I'm a new owner of a 2007 Grand Prix GT. It's got 90,000 miles on it with the 3800 GEN III engine that's supercharged and never seen a winter. I'm slowly starting to upgrade stuff on it and doing it real slow cause I've never really worked on a pontiac much so far I've done a K&N air filter (the square one that fits in the original air box) as well as a Bosch distance performance oil filter and synthetic oil. My next thigh is going to be Bosch platinum iridium no gap plugs, again I don't know to much about these engine especially the supercharger on it so any insights helpful. Sorry for the longer post.

I'm from the rogers area, right by cabelas.

As for the spark plugs, I'd advise you not to buy those bosch plugs. They are not what you want to run in a GM motor. Only buy AC Delco 41-101 Iridium plugs for stock/factory style plugs, they are rated to last 75-100k miles in most applications.

Our waste spark ignition system will eat platinum plugs alive and cause problems.
 
Really didn't know that thanks I run those plugs in my other vehicle but it's an 02 explorer and I know more bout that then this. And I'm from the alexandria area

Our 3800's are picky when it comes to plugs, anything other than Iridium or copper and they do not run correctly.

The 41-101 part number is just for our cars, they should be pre-gapped already and you doublr check and toss them in the motor.
 
Really cool I'll see if I can find them up here I figured those Bosch would be nice cause in my suv they added some power and torque figured same would happen here lol

Ok so the other thing I want to do that I do to most my vehicles is a cheap but decent muffler for my exhaust system any good ideas

I suggest leaving the exhaust alone. aftermarket mufflers dont sound that good, and there is no gain from doing a catback exhaust. do some headers and call it good.
 
That much I do know and to get a decent sound you gotta spend some money but personal opinion I enjoy some noise

I have a Borla catback exhaust and it sounds pretty good imo, it's a Quad-tip Dual-muffler setup, but it sounds goooooooooood.
