Scott from Philly. Pontiac muscle cars are my passion. had a 72 GTO and have had my 71 Grand Prix SJ for over 8yrs. 462cid borg warner S480 turbo 700r4 trans made 667rwhp on 7psi. Ive always wanted a GTP. Just picked up a black on black 98 with a bad trans for 1000$ pretty clean with 145k. everything seems to work. bought it thurs andhad trans done by sunday afternoon
couple question. Ive read alot on here so far. changing the blower oil tomorrow and well as a general tune up. had two codes. p0300 random misfre and p0420 cat threshold over limits. the car has a miss under boost. Im thinking cat clogged? but the car runs great at idle and cruise. I literally just started driving it. doing plugs and wires tomorrow but i dont htink its the issue. also idles about 850. seem high? either way it seems like a fun DD. great site by the way.
