I was on my way home from my gym, on my way i turned onto a local 2 lane road and i see a new red evo behind me (Yes im positive it was an evo, not a lancer) the kid flys up next to me,(my tranny is messed up but, i couldn't pass up this opportunity :p) I then precede to give him blower whine, he bit and gave me a small fly-by. We get next to each other going about 45-50ish, we hit it at the same time, were dead even up until 70 and we had to let off for traffic, Im 90% sure he had his car dyno re-flashed because it stunk and was blowing mucho black smoke. After that, i think he was a little embarrassed he wasn't able to pull on a gp :). We caught a light shortly after, light turns green, we hit it, with his awd he got me off the launch but he wasn't pulling any on me, i was right there, we hit 80ish, i then let off, not even a half a car behind him :D. I think I held my own pretty well considering i have a stock pulley and retarded safe tune oh yeah and a messed up trans :th_tongue2:. I thought id share my encounter :cool:
 


i would say if he was blowin smoke then somthing was wrong....unless its a big diesel makin big power it shouldnt be blowin smoke....
 
or its running hella rich....you sure it wasnt a ralliart lancer the new ones look like the evos.....im pretty sure an evo X woulda spanked you....

No sir. I know lots of kids in the evo community, if its blowing black smoke then it's a good indication its re flashed.
 


lol yeah, its definitely easy to spot. It was this exact car, same color and everything, just with black window tints.

Cool. I should race you in the Subie. But, since straight lines are for squares, we should introduce a turn or two. The world is full of turns and you should be able to negotiate those as well...

Turns? Ill drift in my buddies GT and will smoke (literally, you guys will be smoked lol) all of yall...

Those EVO X are just slughtly faster 0-60 than Evo IX, my buddies IX MR after a reflash and a freeflowing exhaust is blazing fast. Im scared of that damn thing.

lol scared? Try sitting passenger in an evo8 mr with an hta35R and built busher racing block :th_laugh-lol2:
 
i got access to a 85 mustang notchback that will blow all your doors off and runs 10.3 all day WITHOUT spray ha
