Just ran my best ET with my GXP [email protected] 2.11 on the 60'.....ran faster than an LT1 corvette, and a Nissan Skyline.....gotta work on my r/t's got eliminated by another GP so it wasn't so bad.....
 


Nice 60 foot. Are u stock or do u have any mods. Is that with stock tires? I would love to get down to a 2.0X 60 foot with street tires. :) I wonder what your corrected time would be.

My best corrected time was [email protected]. w a 2.154 60 foot. but i have a few mods.
 
all stock except exhaust cut out and re760's up front.....don't know how to figure out the corrected time but i do know im at 1796'
 


im not gonna go to crazy next is the CAI, im dreaming about the cartunning turbo kit but i want to pick up a spare engine to do that.....i like to keep things original or at least able to return to original......for the time being if i can get into 13s with the CAI it will satisfy my cravings for a while
 
The TBS will probally be a Jet spacer. Most guys are using Jet or Airraid. The Airraid spacer make a high whistle sound that u may or may not want. Ill probally do the Jet TBS because its cheaper. As for the Mount i dont have pics. But Basically what u do is remove the in the center holding it all together. Then Push the flexible part out of the way. if u have a Smaller pry bar or large flat head screw driver it will be useful as well as WD-40. U will want to pry the rubber up a bit in the corner and spray lubricant so that it will be easier to flip. Then put the bolt back in tighten it all the way up. Then use your tools on the bolt you should be able to just flip it. Should help u get power to the ground.

Basically right now the solid part is mounted vertically. Allowing the motor to rock forwards and back easy. By flipping it your moving the solid part horizontally. This allows alot less forward and back movement. Kinda makes soft shifts smother as your not getting the motor/trans rocking, and stabilizes it when trying to put down alot of power, should help with your 60 foot.

Oh, on flipping the mounts, one of our LS4 Impala guys just tried it over the weekend and tore his mount. Apparently LS4 bushings are kinda weak and don't take to flipping very well. Hell, tearing happens on the 3800 mounts too.

im gonna give it a try definatly makes sense what can the rubber piece cost me if i do screw it up....what i noticed tis time out on the track was tires spinning between 1st and 2nd gear right before it shifts maybe this will help.....

If not...can't you just order a single polyurethane insert from a 3800 series II mount? Looks the same...and why the hell not...WAY better than a flipped stock mount ;)

it took me like 20 mins but i could see someone loosing patience and rippin the rubber....just got the call to go back to work so i wont make it to the track for a couple of weeks to see if it makes any difference

heh...minor details...if I had the option I would do it all over again too...plus I have solid motor/tranny mounts with the poly upper mounts in the dog bones. Mine is cammed...bet it is a LIL more rough than yours :p
