New Dyno Tune Numbers

Friday I went to ZZP to get my car dyno tuned. I spent almost the entire day there due to some fueling issues I had but we got that fixed. I ended up with 318 whp, 0 KR, 18* timing on 92 octane and 18" AR wheels. I'm very happy with the results. I was hoping to get around 320 whp and it was a success. I also had them program my happy knob so I can advance my timing when I run 110. The car is crazy fast IMO but I need to be nice to her because my tranny is stock besides a shift kit. I probably won't have track times untill this fall because I'm sure the tranny will hate the track.

BTW; BIO248, I fixed my huge sig pic...lol

nice, dude. what are you running for cam and valvetrain? what headers? genIII or genV? how much timing on what pulley?

Kinglou10~ My mods are xp cam, CC 105's, modded retainers, cc pushrods, 2.8 pulley, 78mm TB, Ported sc inlet & outlet done by me, Poerted heads done by me. I had them milled .005 and had the intake valves back cut and the machine shop take a little off the seats so they sealed good, HAI w/ 45* elbow & 11" K&N, SSIC w? GM pump & the new style ZZP FMHE, 10.3 mm wires, autolite 104's, 42 lb injectors, XS headers, SLP loudmouth, Racetronix fuel pump, shift kit. A/C, cat, EGR, EVAP, rear O2, and res delete. I think thats about it for performance items.

Bio248~ I'm running the Gen III and a 2.8 pulley. My timing on the dyno was 18* at WOT. I'm not sure on the torgue #'s the mustang dyno dosen't give you the torgue #'s.

All around I'm very happy with the #'s. I might go back and run the car on 110 some time this summer/fall just to see what kind of gains I would get. Anybody have any idea on what I might get?

hm, nice..most people with a fullsize intercooler and a cam with stock heads have a decently hard time pushing 300 whp.

good work.

I have a Dyno graph from one of my pulls I'll post. It's not my best pull but it was a good one.

Bio248~ My heads have stock size valves. Besides that they have a very agressive port job. I could post some pics if you want;)

The Mustang dyno that ZZP isn't set up for torgue #'s. I asked one of the guys about it and they said it was a PITA to get it to work properly or something along those lines.

Im 291 whp with no tune, headwork, or cam....just 1.84s and stage 2 IC...stock injectors and an L67 TB....with a full size IC its not that hard to get to the 300whp mark
