New debit card

Well i finally got my debit card in the mail today. First thing i did was call the 1-800 # to get it activated soo got that taken care of. Then i went to the bank and put some enough cash into my checking account, and i came home to buy the pcm from zzp and this is what i got Error Processing Your Credit Card
Response From Server This transaction has been declined.

So do i have to wait for a few days or something ?
 


Depens on what time your bank post deposits, but this also could be due to the card being new.

I would give it 24 hours and retry.
 
Ive never had that problem activating any of my debit cards. In fact I have activated them before and proceeded straight forth to the ATM and made a withdrawal with no problems.
 
could be the bank held the deposit, was it a check by any chance? My bank sometimes holds checks for 3 days (personal ones not payroll)
 


Oh no i gave them 202.25 in cash soo i could buy the pcm and i had 25 dollars in it to start with when i signed up for it.

I would say that the bank did not process the deposit yet. Most banks will not process deposits at the windows right away. If it was electronic, then the money should be there. But if you just walked up to the window at a bank and deposited the money, I would say it is not processed yet.

Give it a day. Next time call to check the balance on your account first.
