Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Car felt weird when i was leaving work today, like sluggish and idle sounded off. Took it to advance code popped up p0069 manifold absolute pressure;barometric ..... Idk. Do i have a bad MAP sensor? Also still have this continuos p401 code if that matters.

From what I was reading, P0069 is something most likely to do with MAP sensor, but I'm not an expert. And P0401 is EGR is probably sticking open or something. Happens often and a good cleaning will sometimes fix the issue. But again, not an expert =)

Map and then a Baro sensor.

Check the connections and make sure the wire isn't cut or anything.

Will check in the am too dark now. But changed egr and still same code so.im thinking its dirty/clogged somewhere. May have to take a trip to.junkyard if MAP is bad though.

Well sometimes i like to have parts right away and junkyard is 20min away, beats a few days lol. But if i find nothing then.ill see if anybody has.

I realize this is an old post, but what was the resolution? I have had an issue with this as well. Car becomes sluggish won't go into boost. I've changed both the MAP and Baro sensors with new ones I have 3 extras and have swapped them around. Scanned it and Baro reads 28.5 and map at idle is 18.3.

Gp's pcm uses the map to check EGR floor on de-accelleration. Make sure your EGR is good and that the tube to the intake manifold is good they like to leak at the ends and because it's so hot the only way I've learned to be able to check them is when the engine is started cold while the tube is cold and right away start dumping water on the tube and if white smoke starts coming out of the exhaust then you know the tube is bad.. I've always use propane or water to find vacuum leaks especially water if you don't have a scan tool and if you do then propane while watching the fuel trims is best way to find a vacuum leak
