i still love the GTPs in 1997-2003.
sugestion is to not buy a 97.
but other than that , it does all depend on your lead foot:P. i dont feel the need to drive it like mad in the winter, so i get deecent mileage.
 


I castrated my vote for 97-03 GTP, but also feel that you should leave 1997 out. A 98-03 GTP seems to be a great fit for you.
