looking into getting a 1990 grand prix with the v6 3.1. not sure of exact model. 2 door, for only 600$ (fairly good shape also)

anyway, i have a nice kenwood deck, mtx 5500 12", and a alpine 450w amp. thing is, i never had the system installed in a car... whats the easiest way to run the cables into the trunk?

and, where can i pick up a mounting plate for my deck? all the models ive seen are only for 92+ model grand prix's.

thanks

should be able to get a mount from any car audio dealer I think here's the info from scosche
Scosche Industries : Car Audio Accessories, iPod Accessories, Bluetooth Wireless Accessories, EFX Hyperformance, Accumat Sound Damping, Soundkase audio backpacks, CD and DVD storage systems
looks like just a standard gm 82 and up kit. As for the cables I like to either find a hole or make a hole in the firewall the same side as the battery, and run the wire down the side (under the trim and carpet)

thanks :)

heres the car - ended up getting it for $500. 120k miles. nothings wrong with it, runs great

good price for $500.00 . you could probably throw another $500-$1000 and get a decent paint job and the body work done but great price for it .

picking the car up on saturday from my dads.
hitting up the car wash (wisconsin's salted roads = bad for cars) then once i get home, going to get started ripping up the trim peices and such, taking out the cassette deck in it, and putting my head unit, and sub/amp in.

=)
cant wait.
