Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New car and it is as slow as a mofo

thats the car i was looking for and i ended up looking at the guy making his gtp rwd. i could have used the body he got. (perfect, just needed engine and rollers, what i have) oh well. but ya i like davids set up, im prolly going for that hood and a little more black on the bottom or something, if i paint the rims im keeping a polished lip

Yea, that'll look good. I was thinkink the polished lip after my last post. Heres a link for the hood. Pretty cheap.
Extreme Dimensions Fiberglass Hoods - WS-6 for 97-03 Pontiac Grand Prix at Andy's Auto Sport
I guess we kinda hijacked this thread, but it's all good tilll snap on comes back. Heck, might give him some ideas. If you look on grandprixstore.com and on their home page check out the archives, there are quit a few hundred GP's on theresome with custom paint jobs. Might help give you a idea if what you want. I did see one on there, I think it was Blue with silver on the bottom. Might be what your talking about doing.

yea ive been to gpstore and pfyc and they have the hood as well, and andys has EVERYTHING haha. but ya thats what im looking at i think shawns (1fastgtp) is what im gonna do (something like it, im not stealin the same thing).

I didn't read through the other replies but the best 4 mods as far as bang for your buck goes are intake, headers, exhaust, and pcm. Those were my first four on my 04 GT and it turned it into a completely different car. I'm more than less done for a while but am looking into things such as new rockers and valvesprings as well as a larger throttle body.

As far as brand names go, the headers and exhaust I went with are from SLP (High Performance Pontiac magazine dyno tested the SLP headers on a more than less stock GT and saw a 22hp return on the dyno), the intake is the K&N cold-air kit and the pcm is from ZZP. A bit of an investment, yeah, but well worth it in the end. If I keep my foot off it, I even saw a few more MPG with each tank.

Now I just have to fix the body. A deer ran out in front of me a few weeks ago and bloodied the nose on my GT.

Hope this helps. :th_thumbsup-wink:
