• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

New build for the gsx

Thanks man! I keep saying by June 5th but ya know what happens lol

My biggest issues right now is getting the correct pushrods figured out - with the springs installed it still looks like the exhaust valves is slightly taller then the intakes - zzp only said to get custom pushrod lengths now... what a pain in the ass these heads have become never again zzp , never again

and then the cleaning I would like to clean the whole engine bay while I can

Tried something new. Used paint stripper on the blower. It worked pretty well

Wanted to powdercoat it to look like a newer eaton blower or whipple. Tyler had a good idea with VHT wrinkle paint.

Hahaha you would Bill !

well it's all just mocked up. Nothing sealed yet. Going to use a 8 rib set up with a PRJ style belt wrap
Not sure what I am looking at on the lower intake manifold...

And a alt support bracket / bar? There's a part I've haven't seen a few years ... Wonder where it went

On the LIM. Look where it gets thin on the right side of the pic. I extended the edge because I didn't like how little material there was to seal things.

Put tape across the top of the LIM, laid it on the floor on it's top and then lifted the taped side to about a 45 off the floor. Supported it there. and added JB Weld (aka gray stuff you see in pic) to add material. Pulled off the tape and used a cookie (3m scotchbrite) to level it off. Presto.. more sealing area and never a leak.

Oh I see it now damn. It blended in soo well , I didn't see it at first.
Thats actually a really good idea.
Thanks !!

Well I told crazy I thought it was Anthony smith that had the 1st wrinkle black SC ive seen on that red coupe he used to have I should have known old man bill would pull something from circa 1920 to say that he knew of it done earlier.............

As for the zzp sticker should have put it on upside down or something lol and still don't like that thingermajob that requires a pump and hoses and all kinds of other nonsense! HAHA

Oh I wish it was only a sticker .... It's under the clear coat but thankfully the ICM bracket covers most of it

in that case swap it with the back and that way youll clean up the front with out the oil cap too.... FTW get rid of zzp sitcker and oil cap......

you can put the IC in the back too...... back in the trunk that is LOL!

Jesus ... Now you're knocking on me for my oil cap too? Lmao

how the hell am I going to put oil in my car from the back side ? I have to wedge between the blower and the hood?

HAHA no just giving you hell but yeah just need one of them flexy funnel thinggys...... Cant be any worse than filling a power steering fluid.....

Its looking good and I hope you make over 375whp
