• The site migration is complete! Hopefully everything transferred properly from the multiple decades old software we were using before. If you notice any issues please let me know, thanks! Also, I'm still working on things like chatbox, etc so hopefully those will be working in the next week or two.

Moved to the correct section.

You'll get more helpful responses if you post in the correct section.

Flashing SES light might be a P0300, multiple misfires and puttering sounds like it entered limp mode.

Without knowing anything else, can't say more.

Flashing SES means the computer sees a "catalyst damaging condition", aka typically a bad misfire. Which you mentioned in your description. Typically a fresh set of spark plugs and plug wires clear this right up. There are other things that can cause it, you kinda mentioned you needed those though. Start there and see if that solves the problem.

Well i had diagnostic done and i have a MISFIRE yes i do! i will be getting a tune up today and its very exspensive. i also had a PO442 code pop up thanks guys

Expensive?

Plugs shouldn't be more than $60 (marked up iridiums) and wires ~$30. One hour of labor.

We could have helped walk you through doing it yourself. A tune up on these cars are quite easy.

Autolite plugs are $1.99 a piece.

Lifetime warrantied spark plug wires are $30 at Autozone...

soooo...$50 and a couple hours of your time...

And if those don't take care of it, look into your ignition coils. Cheap fix too, especially from the junkyard. Good luck!

Replace the parts you have..and then if it still misfires we'll walk you through that. Likely you need the tune up and the parts/cost won't be wasted.
