Thanks much! Right now i need to fix a few leaks, replace my tire rods, driver side axle, and a wheel bearing after that she should be running like a champ but i wouldn't know where to start with the improvements after that

I once had an Echo when I was in college. Fun little car because it was 5 speed, and I kind of kick myself for selling it.

Generally, start here before modding your car: http://www.grandprixforums.net/threads/17482-Safely-Modding-Your-3800-Powered-Car!!

I would make one addition to the above linked thread... Get a scan tool, either an Aeroforce, ScanGauge II, or Torque App for Android... that way you can scan for KR.... Knock Retard... it's caused by too much heat in the engine/too few mods... Too much KR and you start chipping pistons.

Fast/cheap/reliable. Pick two

Get spo grilles and cut off the ugly pig snouts off and get some chrome quad spo exhaust tips. The pig snouts ruin the whole look of the car.Get rid of the chrome pillars. They look tacky lol
