nelson performance tune

Anybody have a nelson performance tune on their gxp if so how do you like it and what kind of gains can be expected?

I have a couple of friends that have them in their 1/2 ton pickups and really like them said it made a very noticeable difference and their gas mileage went up about 2 mpg.
Just wondering if it makes that much difference in our 5.3 they dont seem to have as much torque management as the trucks.:)
 
He tuned my brothers impala ss and it made a world of difference in the way the car runs. It pulls really hard on the top end now. I would recommend his tunes since he is on his game on the ls series of engines.:th_thumbsup-wink:

Sorry to drag an older thread up but I would assume with our itty-bitty transmissions, we would be the ones with a lot of tq management. I personally am having a custom tune done next week. Bought a second ECM so I can just swap back and forth for warranty work.

How much was the second ECM?
 
Since the subject of tunes is open...

Who else does tunes? What companys are you guys sporting? What was your cost?
 
tuning doesn't make as big a difference on the LS4 cars as it does on the trucks. You'll benefit most from the increased shift points. Believe it or not the TQ man. isn't very intrusive, only during shifts.
