Neighbors 4t65 users a lot of transmission fluid

My new neighbor helped me move yesterday and has a 2001 gtp. He was saying he had to add at least a quart at every engine oil change. He hasn't noticed any leaks. What's the likelihood that it is a leak and just hasn't noticed or the transmission just uses that much fluid?

What does his coolant overflow tank look like ?

its in his rad for sure if not on the ground, trannys are a hydraulic pump, they dont burn fluid like engine oil, they leak it only.

I'll have him check for leaks and look at his over flow tank

open the cap and look at the coolant. over flow tank wont tell the story as well.

True. But the crap the skims off the top ends up in there looking like a pink white milkshake

The guy is a big dummy. He adds coolant a lot too. I'll probably help him change his lim gasket and all those other gaskets. It probably needs all kinds of basic maintenance

Still.. something ain't right if theres no visible leaks and the overflow hasn't overflowed with that much adding.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a leak and he just hasn't seen it
