Need window help ASAP

So the driver's side window in my coupe finally died last night...it's been going slow lately, been struggling to go all the way up for some time....well it's finally dead...won't go up or down aside from a few centimeters.

I know the assemblies are different between the sedans and coupes...I need to know for a FACT that you can just replace the MOTOR on the coupes. Some sites show a listing for just the motor, some say you have to buy the regulator too.

If anyone has actual first hand experience please let me know ASAP as I'm going to be doing this today. I'd rather just buy the motor if I can to save some $$($70 difference).

Thanks guys!

PS: I tried doing a seach but also saw different answers as well...

4 door needs a regulator for a 4 door, the 2 door is very different. (each door is different) you can change the motor, but most of the time the cable gets worn through and gets jammed up in the pulleys or motor its self, best to get the whole new regulator for your car.

DO NOT buy the advance auto parts special. Your better off going to a yard and buying the whole assembly usually $60-$80, door panel off, tape the window up, a few bolts, its out. Grease the cable so it doesn't snap, and your life is less stressful. How do I know? Done 3 out of 4.
