So my resonator is rotting out, gonna replace it tomorrow...most likely going with a glasspack(still might go straight pipe, not sure). What size do I need?(length and diameter of glasspack and of straight pipe please)

Thanks guys!

EDIT: The car is a coupe

i need to know the size to im redoing mine im getting a thrush glasspack for like $20 from autozone cheapest way to go you straight pipe these they get raspy!

i think 2.5 until it hits the Y and then it goes to 2.25. meh, i dont own your generation of prixs so....

You're useless!!! j/k ;)

I tried doing a search but didn't come up with much. I just want to get rid of this leak, it sounds like ass...and I'm tired of it. The GTA is still in pieces(blower is on its way back from ATI) so it's annoying driving a car with an exhaust leak.

its shorter then the stock resonator i know that and you can get one at an autozone for cheap there usualy behind the counter so youll have to ask maybe

some one on here has to know what the inlet and outlet size if for a 97-03 resonator! im pretty sure its 2 1/4" but i wanna be safe and make sure thats right

a glasspack is just a cheap resonator. it will fall apart at a much faster rate.

get another resonator, or at least what is meant to be a resonator.

I just put it on tonight, if you get it be sure to leave no exhaust pipe on the old resonator, the one I picked up JUST fit so don't hack off any of the intermediate pipe. I don't care if it lasts one year...it was $22 w/tax. It got rid of my exhaust leak, the car is whisper quiet...mission accomplished.

Meaning when you cut off the old resonator don't leave any if the intermediate pipe on it, you're going to need as much as you can get. Make your cuts at the very edges of the resonator.
