Need the money lol. idk im thinking about going to a junkyard and seeing if i can get one for a good price. and reapint it if i have to. i dont have dual exhaust tho. =/ wont it look kinda weird?
 
oh trust me, thats the only good outcome of this.. now i have a reason to go back to stock tail lights. Altezzas= Worst choice. idk what i was thinking.
 


some people should be shot. id bet you cant do a gtp rear bumper and stock catback(for dual exhaust) for less then it would take to fix that and get it repainted

I mean if the person who hit my car would of actually owned up to it and apologized and admitted to doing it, id be fine. but they hit it and just ran not saying a word.. ive already got the primer and the eaxact paint to match my car, so thats why i was jsut going to do it myself. but now you got me thinking.. i could always go to a junkyard and rip a gtp rear bumper off and the cat back and jsut repaint the bumper myself. and the duals wouldnt be hard to put on at all. and if i was really lucky, i could get the taillights off the same car i got the bumper and catback from. ;) hit all three in one.
 
That sucks man. That has happened to me twice now. Some prick got my door/door frame/fender really good and then someone got the bumper cover and quarterpanel on the other side. At least the bumper didnt crack. Mine did :/ I did a cheap fix with fiberglass kit and paint. It looks like ****, but Ill take some pics tomorrow. I don't think youd have too much trouble covering that up. I would try sanding just the smudged areas and touching it up like that instead of sanding the whole corner down and painting, it would be really hard to blend that large of an area.

I didn't see this the first time I posted. Junkyards around here wanted $150 for the bumper cover and like $50-75 for a tail light. Most of them I called had no heads or tails tho. Don't know about the catback
 
ouch man. yea your bumper could be repaired but if your going to paint a bumper might as well be a gt bumper.
 
youd still have to pay the deductible if you go through insurance. painting it wont cost much, ~$250 and that might be high. if you can find a GT/GTP bumper cheap snatch it up.

you could try it yourself if you think you are up to it. its all about the prep! painting is nothing, its all the prep that makes it look good.
