hey guys i have 3 gauges i want to install ! but never done it, oil pressure, oil temp, water temp, they are already on the pod and in the car but not yet reading, where do i hook them in the engine??? thanks
no bro they get install just about the same way as the stock wires the only thing to look out is at the front where the headers go if you have them, for the boot on the right to not touch the header, but couple of wire plug placers should do the job:th_winking:
wires are not to bad to install, just be careful not to brake the metal off your old ones in the rear of the engine while taking them off. I dont know if it would hurt to jump from 7.5mm to 10.5mm, i dont really see how it could, but its not necessary really to have them unless you have lots of performance mods. But they look cool lol
yes is true, i run NGK plugs and have lot of mods but to run them on a stock car it wont hurt anything, i usually move the boots from right to left just to brake them lose before pulling them and always works great, dont forget to put back your heat boot shields back tho lol
Oil pressure you need an oil pressure sending unit with adapter to fit in the hole where the OEM unit is for the car to read. That is located in back on the neck for the oil filter.
Water temp you could tap the coolant temp sensor in the front by the major inlet on the LIM
Not sure on oil temp
Honestly I would be running Oil pressure, Boost and wideband or Aeroforce (aeroforce has all the info you need like fuel trims, coolant temp, etc)
I have 4 From top to bottom: Wideband, Oil pressure, Boost and in the vent hole is my aeroforce
