I have a '04 Monte s/c and the bottom end is worn out with 207k miles. I got a '98 boneville motor to replace it with 120k miles. I will be putting in new LIM gaskets and elbows but would should I put the '04 super charger on it too or just leave the '98 s/c on it? Is there any benefit to the newer s/c? It is all stock, no add ons at all. Thanks

They should both be the same supercharger. The only difference could possibly be vacuum routing. Other than that, they are exactly the same.
 
Ok thanks. Someone told me the 04-05 were slightly different.
