need opinion on tune........

I forgot that this forum changed their name to grandpricksforums.net, seriously, are some of you still in high school?



Who is this tuner that you are looking at? What is his name? Where are you located exactly? There are a few of us near/around Illinois.
 


i pd $250 for a dyno tune, about 2 hrs on the dyno and 3 pulls. too bad it had kr and trans problems after the tune. $$$ better spent at the go-go lounge.

silver bullet on this site recomment a "bob" at Sinister Drag Designs - Chicagolands new performance specialist! so i looked up there site and called...well bob informed me that they moved and currently do not do in house tuning at the momment...so he referred me to some mike guy out of chicago..and he said 225 for blah blah blah
 


Ok, now were getting somewhere. If bob at sinister drags recommended someone else to tune it, then i would trust his opinion. See who mike is, not sure but he might run the w-body store. There are a few in Chicago that know the 3800 world inside and out.

I tune also, i have a few friends that live in the quad cities, i usually charge $50 for street tunes and tune until it is kr free and you can feel a noticable difference on the butt dyno. I have tuned around 7-9 cars though.

Nah not really unfortunately, the couple I've been to have both been in rockford. I've heard theres some sick ones in carpentersville though. Haven't been to one but I hear they usually have at least like 40 cars.
