need ideas!!!!!!

i have a 97 gtp 205+km on it...i have what sounds like low power steering oil noise all the time but power steering oil is full........no change with acceleration.....and also a really annoying rattling noise sounds like its comming from my a/c compressor ........ any ideas b4 i give my car to the bone yard?

Does it get louder when you fully extend your wheels one direction--like a power steering pump would?

no it doesn't but i was wrong about it not getting louder as i accelerate though......but nothing when i turn one way or the other

Water pump maybe? Something on the serp belt. The a/c could be blown too.

My power steering was noisy for a while, had a full resevoir - full of crappy fluid. I pumped it all out and flushed it through, refilled with fresh fluid and problem fixed. Certainly worth a try. Good luck!
