so i was goin down the highway an it was like sumthin blew , so towed the car home an what not got the OBD11 ot and it says P0243 which is "supercharger wastegate solenoid A malfuntion".


can i do this myself?
is it expensive?

any help would b awsome
 


Shouldn't be expensive. Check the vacuum lines that run to it and the electrical connection. The valve is next to the SC near the TB torwards the front of the car. It has a lever that closes it and opens it. When the enginge is not running, it goes all the way down. When it's running at idle, it should be all the way up and should drop down again when you accelerate it.

There's a few pics here in the forums of the BBV valve and the vacuum lines. just do a search if you can't find it.
