Need help with some electrical gremlins

My car is a '99 GTP 4 door, and it has been giving me some problems with electrical stuff. Sometimes after locking it, the car will unlock all 4 doors by itself after a few seconds. Also the car stopped responding to the key fob. I tried both remotes so it isn't a dead battery in the key fob. additionally the rear speakers and sub have been cutting out more and more frequently.

The car has a few electrically related mods... HIDs, LED tails, zzp alternator re-wire, zzp fuel pump re-wire, intense pcm, aftermarket head unit, 2 amps and 1 sub (Previous owner built the audio set up). I don't know where to begin, mostly because electrical work is something I am very unfamiliar with. I'm thinking I need better grounding or maybe a higher output alternator, but those are totally uninformed guesses really. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure what your problem is buit an alternaror is not the issue. I would star by checking the ground and look for any loose connections

Thanks man, appreciate the help. It's safe to assume I know nothing about electrical work, so don't feel like your giving me too simple an explanation. I can probly tell if a connection is loose when I'm staring at it, but I don't know what connections I should start looking at. I don't know how to check the grounding at all either. And yes being such a noob at electrical is frustrating lol.

do a "wiggle" test on the looms, check the battery terminals and clean if need be,
seems like most of it boils down to a corrosion problem with wires that have had the insulation tore away or on the battery, and connections

this is for the audio stuff, that you did not install. i'd start by following any black wires where they may lead to a grounding location, the wires may be chaffed, or the ends where they are bolted or screwed to the frame or body may be lose as well and need new connectors.
installed. also look for the power lines and make sure any connections are not corroded or lose. is so cut the bad splice out, soilder and shrink wrap it. pull the head unit and check for grounds back there too, black wires are almost always grounds.

in the front right side of the engine, the trans bell housing bolts is where your big grounds are,(above the starter) battery cables and stuff, make sure its tight, don't go ape on this bolt tho, its a stud on top of a bolt head, that can break off. maybe remove the bolt and sand all the wire rings to make sure they are grounded solidly.
